PhD, MMed, MBBS, DipAnaes, BA, FANZCA, FCICM
Dr Stephen Woodford developed the Pressure Field Paradigm. He was an early user of minimally invasive advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Interacting with the technology while caring for patients undergoing cardiac surgery and intensive care led to development of the pressure field paradigm. He is a consultant anaesthetist and intensivist and an honorary fellow of the Department of Critical Care at the University of Melbourne Australia. He cares deeply about patient outcomes.
Collaborators
The science underpinning the physiological model of the Pressure Field Paradigm is described in the work of the eminent physiologists Otto Frank and Kenji Sunagawa.
Dr Woodford is collaborating with clinical researchers to test the implications for clinical care. Collaborators are listed in publications and grant announcements.
